The Senior Manager, Corporate Development role and how you will
make an impact:
- This individual contributor role will partner with senior
business leaders on strategy development, including identifying
product gaps, evaluating build/buy/partner options, and
collaborating on target selection criteria, with an emphasis on
deal execution.
- Manage driving the overall corporate development pipeline,
including sourcing new opportunities and managing and evaluating
inbound opportunities.
- Manage M&A transactions through execution, negotiation, and
due diligence, including financial modeling and valuation.
- Routinely make strategic recommendations and contribute to the
team's thought leadership on inorganic growth.
- Create detailed, sophisticated transaction execution roadmaps
and project plans.
- Work with the integration lead to monitor post-acquisition
integration planning/execution.
We're looking for a teammate with:
- Highest integrity and work ethic
- Top tier undergraduate degree, MBA strongly preferred
- Good understanding of the software landscape and software
business models
- Minimum 10 years in corporate development, venture capital,
private equity or investment banking with a technology focus
(preferably at growing SaaS companies)
- Demonstrated track record of leading M&A activities or
investments at a technology company
- Ability to drive cross-dept. collaboration and coordination of
execution and integration activities
- Strong skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, project
management, coupled with strong communication and presentation
skills
- Driven self-starter with ability to work both independently and
in a team setting
- Strong excel and PowerPoint skills with attention to
detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deliver accurate work product on time
- Network of industry contacts, venture capital firms and
investment banking/advisory executives to increase Qlik's ability
to identify and source opportunities
- Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth company where
adaptability is imperative
- Comfortable and thrives working in an agile environment and can
adapt to evolving priorities

Compensation and legal notices:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $200,000 - $225,000 per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate's location, skills, education, experience, and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
