Job Description:
Provides automation solutions for large scale projects from an
end to end perspective, including front end, middle tier services,
and back end data providers. Ensures application quality through
the development and execution of automated regression suites.
Performs Object-Oriented programming, using Java/J2EE. Participates
in scrum activities, including test coverage reviews, story
grooming sessions, and sprint planning. Designs structured test
cases using system modeling techniques. Primary Responsibilities: Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going
development efforts. Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in
multiple platforms. Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several
divisional initiatives. Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to
implementation. Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance
testing. Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications
supporting several corporate initiatives. Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems. Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope. Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a
project. Performs independent and complex technical and functional
analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives. Education and Experience: No degree and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or
five (5) years of experience performing software development and
quality engineering of Web-based and middleware applications
according to Agile/Scrum methodologies, using Selenium and
Java. Or, alternatively, Bachelors degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered
or three (3) years of experience performing software development
and quality engineering of Web-based and middleware applications
according to Agile/Scrum methodologies, using Selenium and
Java. Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or
one (1) year of experience performing software development and
quality engineering of Web-based and middleware applications
according to Agile/Scrum methodologies, using Selenium and
Java. Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) performing Test Driven Development
(TDD) and creating test coverage improvements for Web applications,
using Selenium, Junit, and Cucumber frameworks; and developing test
automation frameworks using Object Oriented Programming languages
(Java and Spring framework). DE developing Web services test automation scripts for SOAP and
REST based services, using Karate, REST-Assured, ParasoftSOA Tests,
and SOAPUI; and developing PL/SQL scripts for data mining, data
validation, and data setup libraries, using Spring JDBC and
DBUnit. DE developing automation scripts to validate application
functionality and layout in iOS and Android devices (Mobile phones
and Tablets), using Appium and Galen Framework. DE performing test automation and implementing Continuous
Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) testing practices within a
financial services environment, using Git Stash, uDeploy, and
Jenkins; and creating and maintaining automated pipelines to drive
application code changes -- commit, quality gates, automated
deployments, and testing stage -- within a quality assurance
