Job Description:
Schedule: Flexible 20-40 hour weekly schedules between
Monday-Friday 8 am-4 pmSalary: $32.93 / hourSign on Bonus: $4,000As
a Day Program Registered Nurse (RN), you will participate in the
comprehensive assessment of physical health of the people Vinfen
serves. Your work will be in an adult Day Habilitation program that
is tailored to meet the social and clinical needs of a unique
specialized population who have brain injuries or intellectual and
developmental disabilities in addition to complex health needs. In
your role you draw on your experience as a Registered Nurse as well
as work together with the people we serve, their families, friends,
employers, and other support staff to transform their lives.As a
Day Program Registered Nurse (RN), you will function in a direct
care nursing capacity. You will consult with other clinicians and
team staff regarding health promotion and maintenance, medication
administration and acute and chronic medical/ psychiatric crisis

federal mandates, all new employees, interns, and volunteers within
Vinfen's Massachusetts programs will be required to be fully
vaccinated (14 days beyond last shot of Pfizer or Moderna or 14
days beyond receiving a Johnson and Johnson vaccine), or have
received the first shot in a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna)
with an appointment scheduled for the second dose. A 2nd dose must
be received within six weeks of hire and the first shot prior to
New Employee Orientation or have an approved exemption for medical

bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but experience may
substitute for education. High school diploma or GED
required.Current R.N. license in state of service required.3-5
years nursing experience required.Experience working with people
with brain injury strongly preferred.Strong time management and
writing skills.All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and
have a current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one
year.All applicants must become CPR, First Aid certified within 2
weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of
employment.All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI,
reference, multi-state background and driving record check.
