Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and ensure that all care services meet the high standards of our post-acute care specialties. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence in patient outcomes and staff leadership. Supervise and schedule registered nurses and nursing assistants Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and nursing standards Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Modify patient care plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient services Provide or arrange for training and development of staff Maintain patient and staff records Report to management on progress and issues Monitor departmental budgets Ensure ethical and legal compliance in all nursing practices Leadership Strong interpersonal skills Critical Thinking Multitasking Problem Solving Compassion Detail-oriented Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
