Job Details Position: Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Anesthesiologist Weekly Estimated Pay: $13,080 – $13,780 (competitive locum tenens pay) Location: Manchester, NH (zip 03102) — Downtown access, cultural attractions, and New England outdoor recreation Facility: 330-bed Level II Trauma Center Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (July 1, 2026 – September 23, 2026) Shift Schedule: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts Monday–Friday; beeper call shifts 7p–7a (Mon–Fri), 7a–7a (Sat–Sun) Shifts per Week: 4 (10-hour day shifts typical) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Temporary Anesthesiology Assignment Required Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology Cardiovascular (CV) fellowship preferred; CV fellowship graduates and new grads from fellowship considered Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) certification preferred At least 1 year of post-fellowship clinical experience preferred (new grads from fellowship considered) Ability to obtain emergency privileges (credentialing support provided) BLS/ACLS per facility requirements Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for a diverse case mix including cardiovascular (cardiac and vascular), general surgery, pediatric, obstetric, pain medicine, and critical care anesthesia Deliver cardiac anesthesia coverage for intraoperative and perioperative cardiac patients, collaborating with cardiac surgeons and ICU teams Supervise CRNAs during daytime hours as part of a collaborative care team model Cover solo cases during call shifts and participate in scheduled beeper call coverage Communicate effectively with perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care and handoffs What We Offer Competitive weekly locum tenens pay Credentialing support and orientation on the first day Opportunity to expand cardiac anesthesia experience at a Level II Trauma Center Exposure to a varied case mix and collaborative perioperative practice model This locum tenens opportunity is ideal for cardiovascular anesthesiologists seeking short-term assignments, locum tenens anesthesiology jobs, or career flexibility in New Hampshire.
