Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a North American leader in comprehensive
environmental, energy, and industrial services, is seeking a
dedicated Local CDL Sales Route Driver to join our dynamic team. In
this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the safe and
efficient delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous waste products
and related services, directly contributing to our mission of
sustainability and environmental protection. This position requires
handling client interactions, managing sales opportunities, and
driving various routes to meet our business goals and objectives.
Operate Class A or B CDL vehicles safely along assigned routes to
pick up and transport waste while adhering to all environmental and
DOT regulations. Cultivate strong relationships with customers,
identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities to increase
service scope and generate revenue. Complete pre- and post-trip
inspections, maintaining detailed logs and reports to ensure
accuracy and compliance. Participate in regular safety meetings and
trainings, remaining up-to-date on safety protocols and industry
regulations. Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns,
ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Strong
sales acumen and ability to initiate and close deals Excellent
driving skills with a clean driving record Effective communication
and relationship-building skills Ability to navigate various types
of software and technology used for logistics management Adeptness
in managing time and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and
company objectives Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s
License) – Class A or B with Hazardous Materials Endorsement DOT
medical certification Proof of clean driving record Training or
certification in handling hazardous materials is a plus
