Job Description:
TransForce, a leader in CDL staffing and compliance, is looking
for a dependable Route Delivery Driver to join our transportation
team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely
delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes,
reviewing orders prior to delivery, and providing exceptional
service to our clients. You will maintain a strong safety focus and
comply with all transportation laws. This role requires a
professional who can operate effectively in a standalone
environment while ensuring the integrity and reliability that
TransForce's reputation is built on. Review delivery orders and
plan routes for efficient cargo delivery. Operate vehicles in a
safe manner, adhering to all transportation laws. Inspect vehicles
for mechanical items and safety issues. Communicate with
dispatch/management regarding delays or other issues. Load, handle,
and unload goods with care to avoid damage. Maintain accurate
records of deliveries and customer authorizations. Ensure proper
handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation if
necessary. Ability to operate a commercial vehicle safely and
efficiently Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps Strong time
management and customer service skills Ability to lift heavy
objects and handle physical workload Medical Insurance Dental
