Job Details

  • Manager is a member of the management team within Corporate Finance. The department supports the entire organization including both the Hospital and the Physician Organizations. Works with Director as well as Senior Management and department managers to understand budget variances and develop potential corrective action plans on an ongoing basis. Analyze prior and current year statistics as well as recent trends and external data benchmarks to help support strategic planning and assist in budget projections.

    Responsible for design, development and maintenance of the financial systems. Work directly with vendors and across CHA to gather data from multiple systems to incorporate in financial, clinical, provider, operational and business data reporting and analysis.

    Performs workflow analysis to review clinical, financial and business functions. Recommends innovative solutions to new business processes and/or enhancements to existing systems.

    Supervise department's junior staff and help ensure department standards, performance and goals. Review existing issues for potential course correction opportunities in improving systems, process flow and data for more accurate, efficient operations.


    Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, Masters preferred

    10 plus years of analytic experience with industry metrics, revenue, staffing parameters and nonstaffing expenses

    Experience in Hospital Finance required

    Experience as Senior or Lead position in department requiring teaching, coaching, performance evaluation, and support of junior staff

    Demonstrated experience in a wide range of systems databases, including Meditech, Budget Advisor budgeting and reporting software. Ability to integrate and manage multiple data sources and consolidate into functional multi module system

    Advanced Access and Excel skills necessary. Demonstrated proficiency in large, complex databases manipulation and custom reporting
