Job Description We are looking for an experienced Sanitation
Lead for an amazing Food Manufacturing Client in Malden. Schedule:
Monday through Friday 3:00pm-12:30am (With flexibility on the
schedule and working on weekends) The Sanitation Lead is
responsible for the accurate and efficient supervision and
sanitation of the plant process equipment and work areas with a
high standard of cleanliness. The Sanitation Lead is responsible
for completing and ensuring the completion of required paperwork
accurately and honestly as applicable. The Sanitation Lead must
adhere to all company GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices),
established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and all Food
Safety policies. Duties and Responsibilities of the Sanitation Lead
: (Include, but are not limited to the following) : --- Comply with
all health, sanitation, GMP, and USDA regulations as described in
the Employee Handbook and other policy and procedure documents ---
100% adherence to all company established chemical, safety, and
cleaning policies and procedures --- Supervises and supports
sanitation activities in a food manufacturing facility. --- Assist
in the planning, developing, and maintaining facility sanitation
and food safety programs. --- Assist Sanitation Manager and staff
to ensure all policies and procedures are compliant with state and
federal regulations. --- Follows established documented sanitation
processes and protocols. --- Ensures team members comply with
company policies and procedures to provide safe, efficient
operations while maintaining a positive working environment. ---
Provides daily work direction to hourly team members, performing
sanitation activities on manufacturing equipment. --- Communicates
and applies company philosophy, policies, procedures, and
expectations to assigned staff and ensures compliance. ---
Responsible for providing daily guidance on safety, machine
operation, sanitation, quality, and maintenance. --- Train team
members on sanitation and food handling procedures to ensure
compliance with federal, state, and customer regulations ---
Identifies and implements documented sanitation procedures and
investigates alternative solutions. --- Make recommendations to
team members to improve sanitation efficiency. --- Recommend
actions or improvements to sanitation practices, equipment
cleaning, production room sanitation, and other operations
affecting health, allergens, food safety, and sanitation programs.
--- Responsible for food safety --- Frequent washing and sanitizing
of the facility where and when instructed, including outdoor areas
of the building such as parking lots and entranceway --- Disinfect
all components of assigned areas throughout the facility --- Snow
removal to make pathways for entrance to the building during
wintertime --- Sweep and mop floors --- Clean ceilings, light
fixtures, walls, evaporators, etc., throughout assigned facility
areas. --- Responsible for completing assigned task list (Daily,
weekly, monthly, and quarterly) --- Input data into the company
computer system accordingly --- After completion of adequately
trained, responsible for operating a pallet jack, and scissor lifts
--- Report any potential contamination issues, and any property
damages in the facility --- Assist when needed postproduction
cleaning and sanitizing of all department facilities and related
equipment --- Frequent bending and lifting at the waist/knees ---
Properly mix soap and other cleaning agents used in the sanitation
facility. --- Ensure all tables, tubs, floors, etc., are sanitized
and up to USDA and GMP standards. --- Always wear all equipment or
gear assigned to you while working Requirements: -- --- The
Sanitation Lead must have 2 or more years of experience in food
manufacturing and related industry emphasizes sanitation protocols.
--- Experience as a lead preferred. --- Strong communication
skills, both verbal and written. --- Strong ability to analyze and
solve problems as they arise. --- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Suite. --- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. --- Able to meet
all safety expectations, including wearing the required personal
protective equipment (PPE) and following all safe practices. ---
Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. periodically. --- Able to work
with and around cleaning chemicals and perform cleaning duties as
needed. --- Able to work under an immediate supervisor, follow and
understand verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment. ---
Able to work extended periods in a cold environment (28F). --- Able
to stand long for periods of time. --- Ability to push/pull heavy
objects. --- Able to use a pressure washer, foam scrubber, walk
scrubber, and sit-down scrubber. --- Able to constantly work on
wet/slippery floors with required /approved footwear. ---
