When an opportunity is ready to be scaled, acquisition or licensing through the best partners are options to continue to advance the technology and to deliver it to consumers and patients around the globe. Working alongside the Early Innovation Partnering team at the Boston Innovation Center, you will gain the understanding of the steps/ process required to advance an opportunity within a pharma/ biotech environment; build scientific and business development experience; interact with broad, cross-functional diligence and deal teams to understand key stakeholders and roles/responsibilities; you could also take ownership of a focused activity required to advance the opportunity, such as:

• Running a competitive landscape of companies/technologies relevant to a prioritized Oncology project
• Collating relevant data and resources to facilitate efficient scientific diligence of assets, technologies, or platforms
• Preparing slide decks for approval presentations
• Co-managing external innovation team sites Additionally, this position will offer a chance to create relationships inside J&J and externally, and increase communication skills through regular engagement with colleagues and experts. You will be a part of the broader, dynamic JJI organization with exposure to a broad range of transactions and activities associated with working in External Innovation in a rich local ecosystem.
