direct, high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse rural
patient population Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust the nursing
care process to ensure optimal results Collaborate closely with
physicians and other clinical team members to coordinate patient
management Triage, prioritize, and manage multiple patients in a
fast-paced, nine-bed emergency department Document care accurately
and efficiently using Meditech (or learn it quickly if new to the
system) Act proactively under pressure and contribute as a
dependable team member during high-volume periods Qualifications
Current VT RN license OR a compact multi-state RN license
(required) Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience
(required) BLS and ACLS certifications (required) TNCC preferred
(nice-to-have) Familiarity with Meditech or the ability to learn
charting quickly Ability to complete and upload credentialing
documents no later than five business days before your start date
Knowledge & Skills Strong emergency nursing skills and comfort with
direct patient care in a busy ED Solid understanding of the nursing
care process and outcome evaluation Ability to work well under
pressure and prioritize care effectively Excellent teamwork,
communication, and clinical decision-making Clinical competence
across a range of ED presentations common to rural critical access
hospitals Basic computer/charting skills with Meditech or similar
